White aluminum oxide is a kind of artificial abrasive sandblasting media aluminum oxide 60 grit.
Electrically fused in arc at high temperature above 2000 degrees furnace with high grade processed alumina as raw material. It has higher hardness and slight lower toughness comparing with brown fused alumina. It is also characterized by its high purity, high melting point ,ability of self-sharpening, better cutting, less heat emit, higher efficiency, acid and alkali resistance, good thermal stability. The content of Al2O3 is over 99%, and contains a small amount of iron oxide, silicon oxide and other components.As the abrasive materials, it is suitable for grinding high-speed, high carbon steel, as loose grains, it widely used for bonded and coated abrasives , polishing, precision casting industry and so on . In addition, it can be also used for polishing materials, precision casting sand, spraying materials, chemical catalyst carrier, special ceramics and high-grade refractories, etc.
